Curious Kat

Las Vegas: There was this big sign that said REVOLUTION I used the EVOL and flipped it <3 lol

Curiosity killed the cat... did the surprise really bring him back??... I was thinking about everything that happened last year (2010) the thing that changed me the most was falling in love... pretty cheesy huh?? How do I know I'm in love?  well for many reason and no legit reason at all... this is where I begin to rant...  is it possible to fall in love at age 12?? perhaps it's what grown ups called "puppy love"?? what's the meaning of that phrase anyway?? Well whatever it may mean, this kiid drove me crazy. He was full of life and always had a story to tell... He never made me feel like I might lose him to another girl, or he would always make me number one on his "list". My family always told me "Family Comes First"... but to us, this "love" was so real that our "family" came second and "we" came first, because we so strongly believed that in the future "we" were going to be all we really needed.
My dad put him through a lot of shit I might add, being that he was my first official boyfriend and all so of course he was going to take advantage of the opportunity.
I realize that many of my blogs are usually about my reminiscing. Oh gosh, I don't know where to go with this... Sometimes I miss that thrill of "not wanting to get caught by my parents". I'm 20 years old!!! Is that part of my life really over?? There are many times where I just want to rebel against myself; do things I would never do, take an effect on people, and just cause destruction all around. I didn't date a lot and I've only ever had 4 boyfriends in the past. I'm really okay with that; if anything I want to keep that number as low as possible.
I do believe in the "one guy, one girl" thing (or if your gay then one guy one guy one girl one girl haha). I miss endless mornings talking about nonsense; not having to worry about work the next day, or that you're getting no where in life.
I don't know... something just doesn't feel right. I have my up's and my downs, but this.. this feels different. Can guys and girls ever be "friends" once they've been a "couple". On some level I think it's possible, but there's always that HISTORY between you, sometimes you can't help but bring it up, and look back and smile at what once was. I suppose there's no harm in that.. or is there?? would it be like having a spark and the possibility of starting a fire up?? Not if you're IN love though right?? Should it be that if you're IN love that it shouldn't matter what or whom tries to come between you, because regardless, you can overcome ANY obstacle.
     I believe so <3

All that matters is that the person they are calls to your heart so much you wish them happy. No matter what that other person does, they can never hurt you because you love them so much. By my definition, Jesus had true love for humanity."
Best quote on True Love I've ever heard in my life.
Coincidentally enough, guess who I'm quoting. John Doe. Haha!

  2. I believe so =) The guy mentioned above is my first real love... We're the best of friends till this day and we're ALWAYS there for each other. I help him out with his girlfriend problems rather than try and wreck what he has because I just want him to be happy. Haha I never really realized that until you pointed it out ^_^

  3. My ex fiance (we broke up/it off in 2001) is STILL one of my best friends. His wife ain't to keen on me, but that's all good, I'm not too keen on her either. I'm even still close to his entire family ... even though we live hundreds of miles apart. In fact, in less than 2 weeks I'm going to his sisters wedding in New Orleans, 'cause she said her day wouldn't be perfect w/out me there.
Once there is true love... the love remains... just a different kind.

  4. I read what you write and I must say it's quite interesting. I'm a very old fashion guy myself,I love showering my girlfriend with kisses and I always want to show her off to the world. I don't hang out with ANY ex's because I know how uncomfortable that is even though you girls sometimes won't admit it. I love my girl and find no need to hang out with any other, haha she's all I need and I try my best to make her feel that way. From my perspective if a dude makes an effort to hang out with his ex it only means that he still cares. Keep up the writing I'll be looking forward to it :)

  5. I've actually become friends again recently with someone I was dating so I think it is possible. But you know, we still didn't speak for 3 years after we broke up so it's definitely not easy. I think there has to be time to heal and those feelings need to be left behind for it to work.

Other than that, it's never ever worked for me so the odds aren't good.

Also, I finally got around to finishing up Great Expectations. It was so good, such a roller coaster too. If I wasn't a man-robot without feelings I might even have teared up a bit.

  6. GoofyGirl: lol I'm glad to hear that, I hope the wedding goes well, I'm happy that you still get along with your ex fiance, but if his current wife isn't too keen of you, it might be uncomfortable for her to know that you are still involved. I've been in her shoes sorta.

Anonymous: You sound like such a wonderful guy and your girlfriend is lucky to have you :) , In many ways I'm a very Old fashioned girl myself. I do admit it gives me funny feelings when my love goes out one on one with another girl, everybody's always telling me that it "isn't right" to do that to your significant other or that it's "fucked" up blah blah blah, I'm sick of hearing it, whether it's me or him, now when someone asks I just say he's doing his own thing. My mom always told me that now that we moved in together, things are different and that it's healthier for our relationship if we go out together with other people and she gets mad if I hang out with a guy or if she knows my love is with someone else. We need our time apart sometimes, I agree. I wish he hung out with guy friends though, we had a discussion about this not too long ago lol. He doesn't like socializing. ANYways.. I've been avoiding hanging out with guys one on one since we've moved in together, and if I do they're either GAY or other people are with us, he might not feel that way, but I'm like that and I wish I wasn't. Our relationship is different I suppose.. idk.

Chris! I know what you mean, time heals =) and I know it's not easy to become friends again, especially if the break up was sorta harsh. lol I don't really talk to any of my EXs except for the one mentioned in my blog and that's in a rare while lol all feelings are gone but I still have love for the guy, he's a good kiid and has a big heart. We didn't end bad, but it did change me in a way. Lol I knew you would've liked it! haha I told you! You and your weird mind would make mad genius babies with Charles Dickens lol

  7. "it might be uncomfortable for her to know that you are still involved"
oh, it drives her bat shit bananas, but I have made EVERY effort to be nice, to make it overly clear that the love he & I have for each other is 110% innocent, and I have ZERO interest in "being with him"... apparently she can't wrap her head around the facts ("Hello?! He MARRIED YOU!"). I tried to make her comfortable with it all, now I just don't care. Unsubstantiated insecurities are a singular issue, i.e. not mine.

  8. GoofyGirl: LMAO! Bat shit bananas! I like that lol <3 I suppose if you've made an effort to make it clear for her that you have no interest in "being with him" and gave her the respect as his wife, now it's in her hands and what she makes of it, I can totally respect you for doing that. The girls I've encountered are little cowardly home wreckers that don't even have the guts to face me or introduce themselves; just hang out with my boyfriend.
